        A SMO Proposal

What we provide: We completely install the SMO, including merging all local customizations.  Each step is carefully documented, with times kept for each step completed.  Anything out of the ordinary is noted and sent in a detailed email to the institution.  We also work directly with you after the SMOs are installed regarding any issues resulting directly from the SMO installation.

Background:  KC has installed over 1200 SMOs since they were introduced as part of the CARS (now Jenzabar CX^®) system in 1987.  We have successfully installed over 750 SMOs in the last 4 years at 20 institutions.

History: We were the first to introduce a fixed rate per SMO.  Our current rates are $250 per SMO, which includes your primary database plus up to one additional 'train' database.  (NOTE: The 'train' database needs to be linked to your main database and not in it's own separate structure.)

Proposal: For a signed contract for installing SMOs at your institution for a minimum of 6 months, the fixed rate per SMO will be $225 with up to one additional database included free.  For a signed contract of a minimum of 1 year, the fixed rate per SMO will be $200.
